Adjustment of Deviation in Tile Forming Machine Operation

2025-06-07 08:53:35

Deviation during the operation of tile forming machines is a common and technically challenging issue. The typical causes and adjustment methods are as follows:

1.Machine Leveling: If the tile forming machine or roll forming machine for trapezoidal sheets is not properly leveled, it may cause misalignment. Use a spirit level to check the alignment of the channel steel on both ends of the machine. Adjust the four supporting legs at the base of the machine by placing iron shims as needed to achieve proper leveling.

2.Alignment of the Feeding Guide: Use a large square (angle ruler) to ensure that the rear feeding guide (usually an angle iron guiding the sheet into the machine) forms a right angle with the rollers of the metal roof panel machine. This step is critical—if the feeding guide is not at a right angle, the sheet will inevitably deviate during operation.

3.Diagonal Measurement: Measure the diagonal distances between the corners at both ends of the roof tile making machine. Ensure the machine is level first. Based on experience, if the diagonal difference is less than 4 mm, the deviation can usually be corrected. If it exceeds 4 mm, it's very difficult to fix, and even if adjusted, the sheet feeding may remain unstable.

4.Adjustment by Observation: When deviation occurs, observe from the sheet feeding direction. If the sheet is running to one side, adjust by shimming the machine foot on the same side. Essentially, this means artificially equalizing the diagonal lengths to restore proper sheet alignment.

These guidelines apply across various types of roll forming equipment, including high-speed tile machines, metal roof panel machines, and roof tile making machines, and help ensure smooth and precise sheet feeding.
